Here is the link to our September Newsletter with all the information and links to events being held in October also ways in which you can get involved in helping us reach our £5k target.

Butterfly Awards, Wave of Light & Raising Awareness

October is fast approaching and we are hoping that you will join us in raising funds and awareness for the Pinks N Blues CIC during Baby Loss Awareness Week 9th - 15th October, either at home, with friends and/or work colleagues.  A pink & blue cake bake, wearing pink and/or blue, anything that you can think of that will help raise funds and awareness - if you would like any posters to help please let me know and we can provide them.  If you don't want to share your experience of loss(es) please use our story.

TV Interview

I was invited to talk with Lois Swinnerton at Big Centre TV this morning about the Pinks N Blues and Miscarriage http://www.bigcentre.tv/watch-again/news/7420-the-midland-morning-news-live I do 4/5 three - five minute segments throughout the show

Yesterday I received a phone call from Big Centre TV from Bob Hall saying they would like to invite me to come into the studio to talk about Miscarriage and The Pinks N Blues. I didn't even need to think and said yes, then was asked if I could come in and do the Morning Show the next day!

Exciting Times

On Monday it was announced that I had reached the final of Britain's Best Volunteer for my work on behalf of the Miscarriage Association.

The last few days have been very humbling with many positive and encouraging comments from others.

That I was nominated by a few people made it extra special and if nothing else comes from this for me the Miscarriage Association and Pinks and Blues have had much needed publicity and have continued to talk openly about Miscarriage.

My work has done a profile piece on my to be raised at a Manager's meeting and I will be interviewed for the work magazine.

Please continue to spread the word

Twitter and Facebook are amazing tools for getting the message out - but it is actually the people who choose to RT and share posts that spread the word further.  I am so grateful to the those who continue to help us spread the message.

This project is International so please continue to spread far and wide

Thank you

I'm going to be busy

I have 24 butterflies waiting to be completed, but don't want to rush them so taking my time to make sure they are perfect.

I am so grateful for the support I have received through this project and that it is reaching around the world.

Yesterday I had my 3 yr old Godson and we were painting he noticed the butterflies and said Catherine they are beautiful.  When his mom came to pick him up she asked what they were for and explained the project to her and she was wow that is amazing and the butterflies are beautiful.

Amazing Response

I am amazed at the reponse to the Butterfly Wall Project, so many lovely comments and so much support from people.  I am enjoying crafting the butterflies individually and feel honoured that you have shared your little ones with me.  As the butterflies mount up it is a sad reminder of the little lives taken too soon.  Thank you for the generous donations.
